East Coast Tours

The east coast is home to the island's most photographed lagoon, a vast sweep of turquoise dotted with small islands. The star is Île aux Cerfs, a palm-fringed island of white sand made for swimming, snorkelling and doing very little at all. Most visitors reach it on a catamaran cruise with a barbecue lunch aboard, often pausing at the Grand River South East waterfall along the way. It is the most relaxed of the day trips: Krishna handles the drive and the boat arrangements, and you just bring a towel.
